Classroom/Facilities
Our multiple classrooms are spacious and specially designed for early childhood use. Each classroom offers fun & inviting centers for learning & play, including art, science & math, sand/water play, blocks, library, and dramatic play. Our cozy libraries offer children an environment to explore literacy and the world beyond their classroom. Our community library and computer lab provide an abundance of reading and online resources for our school-age children, teachers, and parents. We also offer a fun outdoor play area with a variety of toys, games, and play equipment.
Individualized Learning & Early Intervention
Alpha Beta Children’s Academy is a profound advocate of integrated classroom settings for all children, regardless of their needs. In partnership with Dedicated Pediatric Therapy, developmental screenings are included for all incoming children. Our focus is to make sure each child has the individualized learning attention they need. However, we understand that some students may need more individualized attention than others. If you are a parent of a child who has special needs, please inform us so that we may be able to better assist you.
Licenses & Certifications
Alpha Beta Children’s Academy is licensed by the Child Care Licensing and Enforcement agency (CCLE) of Broward County. CCLE monitors child care providers for compliance with health and safety standards. CCLE is the only COA-approved (Council on Accreditation) agency in the Country. In order to ensure a safe and healthy environment, all of our staff members must complete special training and certification including First Aid & CPR, Health, Safety & Nutrition, and Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect (CAAN). All members of our staff must be fingerprinted and have a bi-annual medical before they are permitted to be on staff.
Allergens & Adaptations
Alpha Beta Children’s Academy is a Nut-Free and Pork-Free environment. However, please alert the center if your child has a known allergy or special nutritional needs.
